Hello, and welcome to the Enfamil A+ 2 Learn and Grow for Growing babies series. “My First Book†is a game that develops communication skills, and is ideal for babies at 7 months. Let’s go over what makes this activity so beneficial. It promotes paying attention, listening, and language development. It encourages communication, bonding, and learning through books. Ready? Let's start. First, place your baby on your lap and hold them in your arms. If your child is on a bed, do not leave them unattended for any period of time as they can fall off the sides. Now, open up their favourite book and show them the pictures. Name the things that appear in each of the pictures, making sure your voice and words are clear. When pointing to an animal, you can imitate the sounds or movements it makes, encouraging your child to try, too! This activity will help your baby learn to pay attention, stimulate their language skills, and teach them the names and sounds of different animals and objects.
