It's time for another episode in our Enfagrow A-plus learn and grow video series. We're going to play a motor development game called Over and Under, made for 15-month-old toddlers. There are many reasons to love this activity. It boosts motor development and spatial awareness. It teaches the concept of over and under. It also strengthens self-confidence and the bond between you. Ready to begin? Take a seat on the floor with your toddler. Next, grab a cardboard tube, lift it up, and ask them to go under it. Then lay it on the floor and ask your child to go over it. Repeat the pattern and be generous with your compliments. You can get in on the fun too. Stand with your legs apart and encourage your toddler to crawl through. Then sit on the floor, stretch one leg forward, and ask your child to step over. And, of course, don't forget to reward every win. This activity helps boost motor development and the concept of over and under, but it also helps give toddlers the confidence to explore their world.
