When I prepare Enfamil Thickened A+I find that it clogs the nipple and doesn't flow properly. What can I do?
For best results, it is important to:
- When first mixing, do not shake the bottle with the nipple attached to the bottle, as this will cause the powder to clump inside the nipple. Instead, put the bottle cap insert (nipple disc) on for shaking. Attach the nipple just before feeding.
- LET THE BOTTLE SIT FOR 5 MINUTES prior to feeding the baby.
- A clean wire whisk works well to mix the formula in large quantities.
